ELECTRONIC TRANSFER (ACH)
You can easily set up incoming or outgoing electronic fund transfers (ACH) between your bank and eOption brokerage account, including automatic contributions to your IRA. Transfers can be made on demand or on a recurring basis. To start using ACH, you have two options:
Please submit your completed form by email, fax or mail: Please note: ACH deposits are not instantaneous and can take 1-3 days to post to your account. ACH deposits will be held for 3 business days if the amount exceeds the equity in your account. If you want to trade immediately, we suggest funding your account via wire transfer. Due to ongoing fraud and risk prevention measures, all ACH deposits must be held in your SuccessTrader account for 30 days before they can be withdrawn. If this is a concern, please consider funding your account via wire transfer since this policy does not apply to incoming wires. |

CAT Fee
CAT Fee states that starting September 1st, 2024, option and equity transactions will have an applicable CAT Fee Rate of $0.000035 per executed equivalent share in order to recover a portion of the 2024 CAT costs.
The CAT executed share equivalent is as follows:
- 1 executed share in an NMS Stock = 1 executed equivalent share
- 1 executed share in an OTC Equity Security = 0.01 executed equivalent share
- 1 Listed Option executed contract = 100 executed equivalent shares (or, if different, the applicable contract multiplier)
NSCC VAR Charges
NSCC (National Securities Clearing Corp.) VAR (Value at Risk) Charges result when a larger position is held overnight in an equity that NSCC deems to be “volatile”.
The NSCC list includes stocks that have volatile price action and may change daily. The fee may be up to the dollar amount of the position held overnight charged at an interest rate of 10.50%.
This fee is applied to customer accounts on a monthly basis.
CAT Fee Catch-Up
CAT Fee Catch-Up states that starting October 1st, 2024, an additional applicable CAT Fee Rate of $0.000013 per executed equivalent share will be charged to recover historical CAT costs for the period between 2012 and 2021. This fee will continue until the historical costs are recovered, estimated to last approximately 2 years.
The CAT executed share equivalent is as follows:
- 1 executed share in an NMS Stock = 1 executed equivalent share
- 1 executed share in an OTC Equity Security = 0.01 executed equivalent share
- 1 Listed Option executed contract = 100 executed equivalent shares (or, if different, the applicable contract multiplier)
